An unrestrained 4-year-old girl was injured in serious condition after car racing that led to a crash on I-15 in Provo.
Officials stated two red cars were racing southbound on the highway near Center Street just before 7 p.m. on Saturday.
They said one vehicle was a Dodge Charger, the other a Subaru WRX.

The driver of the Subaru reportedly lost control, struck the right concrete barrier and ricocheted into the left barrier.

It was not specified how many passengers were in the Subaru, but officials said they were all transported to the hospital.

They reported a 4 year-old girl, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported in serious condition.

It was not specified how fast the cars had been traveling at the time of the crash.
Troopers said they were unable to locate the driver of the Charger, and charges will be filed on both drivers.
They added that other motorists played a big part in identifying the red Charger.
